What are compression or recovery boots?

Compression boots are inflatable full-leg sleeves. Their chambers fill and release in sequence, creating adjustable pressure from the ankles towards the thighs. Recovery boots is another common name for the same type of product.

Why did Embod choose these compression boots?

We wanted full-leg coverage, four sequential chambers, adjustable pressure, cordless use once charged, Standard and Tall sizing, a 12-month warranty and practical support after purchase. This is the same model we use at Embod.

How strong is the pressure?

There are seven adjustable levels. Start lower and increase only to a setting that feels comfortable for you.

Do the boots stay plugged in?

No. Charge each portable controller with the supplied USB cord, then use both boots cordless.

What size do I need?

Standard is 77 cm long by 65 cm wide and is suggested for heights up to 170 cm. Tall is 86 cm long by 70 cm wide and is suggested for heights 170 cm and over. Measurements refer to the boot itself. If you are around 170 cm or would like help choosing, ask Embod before ordering.

Can I try compression before buying?

Yes. Book a compression treatment at Embod East Brisbane to try the same model we use in the studio before buying. Studio pick-up is also available.

Should anyone check with a health professional before using compression boots?

Check with your doctor or another qualified health professional before buying if you have a history of blood clots or deep vein thrombosis, are pregnant, have a pacemaker or another implanted device, or are recovering from surgery. These boots are sold for wellbeing and recovery, not as medical treatment. Read and follow the full safety information supplied with the product.

What happens if I change my mind or there is a fault?

Embod's store returns policy applies to change-of-mind returns. Please review it before ordering and contact us before purchase if you are unsure about sizing. If the boots are faulty, unsafe or do not match their description, contact Embod and we will guide you through diagnosis and the appropriate repair, replacement or return process. The boots include a 12-month warranty from delivery, in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights.
