I've taken the constantly sold-out Biohacking Social and extended it to three beautiful days. A private estate in the Byron Bay hinterland with an infinity pool that looks straight out to Cape Byron, the studio's technology set up in the house all weekend, nourishing food, restorative yoga, Friday evening with Jess from Somatic Sabbatical for cacao, breathwork and Spinal Energetics, a floating sound bath, and enough free time that you can do all of it or honestly none of it.

Is this you?

Three functional days that will leave you feeling better in your body, understanding it more deeply, and giving yourself the space to prioritise your wellbeing properly.

This is not an escape from reality, itโ€™s your PERMISSION slip to put your wellbeing first ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ

Expect nourishing anti-inflammation food, yin yoga, wellness workshops, breathwork, cacao, floating sound healing, a spinal energetics experience, intentional movement, recovery treatments, time in the sauna, nature & connection with genuinely incredible women who value health, growth and thinking bigger.

Youโ€™ll have full weekend access to infrared Lymphatic Body Roll, compression boots, LED and infrared, plus practical tools and knowledge you can actually take home and use in everyday life.

Come alone or bring a woman you love. This is for women who value growth, health, connection and feeling good in their body.

Why I made this.

After the year I've had, I've realised how much connection and being around like-minded, amazing women means to me.

The Social gives us two hours together, and I kept thinking about what we could do if we did not have to squeeze the treatments, the conversation and the connection into one evening.

Biohacking Offline is my answer. Three days somewhere seriously beautiful, with nourishing food, slow movement, a few workshops I have wanted to run for years, and enough free time to actually enjoy it. It is the weekend I would genuinely book myself.

EmilyFounder of Embod

Emily, founder of Embod

The women who come are open-minded, ready for connection and decompression. That is the only thing this weekend asks of you.

We have enough planned that you will never be tapping your fingers wondering what to do next. None of it is compulsory, because sometimes doing less really is more, and the weekend is yours to shape. Body craving extra sleep? Skip the yin. Would rather read a book in the sauna than sit in a workshop? Go and read. It is all there if you want to get every last thing in, and just as good if you do not.

Rooms are from $1,999, with the Hideaway now sold out. Bring a friend for free when you pay in full for an available room.

Spinal Energetics
& Breathwork
experience

Cacao ceremony, breathwork & Spinal Energetics with Jess Kanellopoulos.

Jess, founder of Somatic Sabbatical, joins us on Friday evening.

Weโ€™ll begin with a cacao ceremony to open the heart, then move into a guided breathwork flow. Itโ€™s an active practice: you follow Jessโ€™s guidance and work with your own breath.

Group Spinal Energetics follows directly afterwards. You lie down and focus on sensation, with time to feel and process what comes up. Weโ€™ll finish with a group integration discussion.

You donโ€™t need previous experience. Everything is optional and included in your stay.

The Curation

Your room, nourishing meals, treatments and experiences are all included. Settle in, take your time, and let us look after you.

The sunken fire pit at dusk

Friday

Check-in opens at midday. One of us takes your bag and hands you something cold, and shows you to a king room. From most of them you can see the valley roll out to Cape Byron and the lighthouse. The first hour tends to involve standing very still in front of that view and sending one photo to the group chat with no caption.

Lunch is long, outside, and cooked by someone who is not you. The afternoon after it is open. The infinity pool is warm and hangs over the valley. The Finnish barrel sauna is lit at one end of the property, the infrared sauna at the other, and there is a fair chance a wallaby is on the lawn between them. Our studio equipment has come down with us and is set up in the big oak-floored studio, with one of us there to walk you through each piece. Some people go straight for a roll. Some people go straight for a nap. Both are correct.

Later in the afternoon, we sit down together for the first time, with a journal each and a few questions that are easier to answer on paper than out loud. Then the first yin practice on the studio floor: long, held, supported shapes, pitched for bodies that spend their days at a desk or in a car. If you have never done yoga, you will be fine. If you have done a lot, you will notice how slow this is and be glad.

Friday evening brings Jess from Somatic Sabbatical, opening with a heart-opening cacao ceremony, followed by activating guided breathwork and then group Spinal Energetics. We finish with a group integration discussion. No previous experience is needed, and participation is optional.

Our evening also includes shared plates at one long table under the pavilion. Weโ€™ll confirm the timing of dinner and Jessโ€™s experience closer to the weekend. There is no alcohol on the retreat. If you feel like staying up, the sunken fire pit is there for a conversation before bed.

The infinity pool at sunset, where the floating sound bath happens

Saturday

Get up when you get up. If you are awake early, the sun comes up over Cape Byron and you can watch it from the pool with a tea. The barrel sauna is warm early, and the plunge pool is right there next to it if you want to try the hot and cold thing properly, with one of us explaining how long is long enough.

We start with a guided morning stretch and breakfast, then leave the morning open for the studio, the pool or some time with your book.

The studio is here for the whole weekend, with time to return to the treatments you enjoy. Roll, rest in the LED bed, sit in the boots with your book, lie on a PEMF mat by the pool, and go back for a second turn on whichever one you liked most.

Later in the morning, the lymphatic and dry-brushing workshop. I talk you through the lymphatic system, the thing I have spent four years explaining one client at a time: what it is, where it runs, why the Body Roll follows the path it does, and what you can do about it at home with a dry brush and a few quiet minutes. You write your own version down and take the brush with you.

Lunch is slow. Then the Signature Intention Scent workshop. Essential oils along the long table, a short explanation of how top, middle and base notes work together, and a small bottle with your name on the label. You blend it, name it and keep it. You will probably wear it on the drive home, and then find yourself reaching for it on a bad Wednesday.

After some time to yourself, our fascia self-care workshop explores the places most of us hold on: jaw, neck, hips, the backs of the legs. A plain explanation of what it is, why it stiffens when you sit still for a living, and how to find and loosen those spots yourself once you are home.

Later, we come together for yin, then dinner. Saturday closes with a floating sound bath. The pool is warm, the lights are low, and you lie back on a float with the water holding you while the bowls are played from the edge. The sound comes through the water as much as the air. Towels and robes are waiting when you climb out, and nobody talks much on the walk back to the house.

The sunroom where Sunday breakfast is served

Sunday

A gentle stretch and yin, followed by a slow breakfast. There is time for a last swim, sauna or turn on the roller if you want one. Then a closing circle, and a letter to yourself that you seal and hand to us. We post it to you a month later, around the time the weekend has started to feel like something that happened to someone else.

Check-out is by 11 am, with time to pack and say your goodbyes.

Your own signature scent

Spend part of Saturday afternoon exploring essential oils and learning how different notes work together. Choose the oils you love, experiment with the blend, and create a scent that feels like you.

Youโ€™ll name and bottle your blend to take home. All oils and materials are included in your retreat stay.

The studio

A 70-square-metre, oak-floored yoga studio.

Two pools

A 15-metre infinity-edge pool with the valley and Cape Byron beyond it, and at the other end of the property a tropical plunge pool inside a palm garden.

Two saunas and a bath

An eight-person traditional Finnish barrel sauna beside the plunge pool, a Clearlight infrared sauna by the fire pit, and an outdoor stone bath under the trees.

Long meals outside

Undercover decks with a long timber table and a day bed, a light-filled sunroom for breakfast, and a sunken fire pit that looks straight down the valley to the lighthouse.

Room to spread out

Two living rooms, one with an open fireplace, deep sofas and a wall of glass to the valley. A full kitchen and a second kitchenette, so nobody is ever waiting for the kettle.

Five private acres

Mature gardens with views that run all the way to Cape Byron. Koalas, wallabies, echidnas and black cockatoos come through most days. Byron Bay is 25 minutes away and Brisbane about two hours.

The practical bits

Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, an indoor fireplace and free onsite parking.

Where we're staying.

A private, architect-designed estate on five acres in the Byron Bay hinterland, with nobody else in the house but us.

There is enough shared space to be together and enough room to disappear with a book for an hour. Byron Bay is 25 minutes down the hill, and a small hinterland village is a walk away, although the property gives us very little reason to leave once the weekend begins.

It is seriously breathtaking. I stood on the deck for about ten minutes without saying anything, which anyone who knows me will tell you is rare.

The property name and exact address will only be shared privately with confirmed guests before the retreat.

Read the retreat terms

Before you book.

The things people ask me before they book.

What is Friday evening with Jess?

Jess Kanellopoulos from Somatic Sabbatical will begin Friday evening with a heart-opening cacao ceremony, followed by activating guided breathwork and then group Spinal Energetics. The experience closes with a group integration discussion. The experience is included in your room price. You donโ€™t need previous experience, and participation is optional. Exact times and any preparation details will be shared before the retreat.

How does Biohack Together work?

Book an available room and pay in full to bring one additional woman for free. You share the same room and both receive the retreat inclusions. Choose โ€œBook for two ยท Pay in fullโ€ to add your room and its matching additional guest together. The Biohack Together discount applies once per order. A deposit-only booking does not qualify for this pay-in-full offer.

Iโ€™m nervous about coming alone. Is it okay if I donโ€™t know anyone?

Yes. Every room price includes one person, so nothing about the booking assumes a plus one, and at the Social a good share of the room always arrives alone. The meals are shared, the workshops are shared, and by Saturday lunch you will have forgotten who came with whom.

Iโ€™m not a yoga person.

You do not need to be. Yin is the slow kind, mostly on the floor, mostly lying down, and the morning stretch is closer to what a good physio would have you do than to anything you have seen on Instagram. Both are optional. Plenty of guests skip one and spend that hour in the sauna. Nobody minds.

Iโ€™m a bit nervous about the โ€œwooโ€.

Fair. You donโ€™t need to arrive with experience of cacao ceremonies, breathwork or Spinal Energetics. Jess will guide the Friday-evening experience, and you can choose whether to take part. The floating sound bath is optional too. There is plenty of space to enjoy the weekend your own way.

I need to be able to check my phone.

There is Wi-Fi. Your phone lives in the basket at dinner and comes back to you afterwards. Most guests find it easier than they expected.

Do the rooms have their own bathrooms?

Every room has its own ensuite except the two Hideaway rooms, which share one bathroom between them. If that matters to you, the Signature rooms are the ones to book.

What is included in the room price?

Everything. Your room price includes the complete two-night luxury weekend retreat from Friday to Sunday: accommodation, nourishing meals, daily yin yoga, a guided group stretch with posture in mind, Friday eveningโ€™s heart-opening cacao ceremony, followed by breathwork and Spinal Energetics with Jess, guided journalling, a floating sound bath, the Signature Intention Scent workshop and full access to Embod in Residence. Any optional extra will be clearly priced before you choose it.

Where is the retreat?

At a private five-acre property in the Byron Bay hinterland, roughly two hours south of Brisbane. The property name and exact address will be shared privately with confirmed guests before the retreat.

Do I need experience with the Embod equipment?

No. That is literally what we are there for. We will set up each treatment, explain the controls and show you what to do before you begin.

Do I have to join every activity?

No. Body craving extra sleep? Skip the yin. Would rather read in the sauna than sit in a workshop? Go. It is all there if you want it and just as good if you do not.

How do I get to the retreat from Byron Bay?

Travel to and from the property is not included. The retreat is at a private property in the Byron Bay hinterland, and confirmed guests will receive the exact address and driving directions before the weekend. If you are flying or will not have a car, email studio@embod.com.au before booking so we can help you understand the transport options.

Is there parking at the property?

Yes. There is onsite parking at the private five-acre property, so you can drive and leave your car there for the weekend.

Am I able to purchase this as a gift for someone else?

Yes. Complete checkout using your payment details, then email studio@embod.com.au with the guestโ€™s full name and email address so we can place the booking in their name and send the retreat information to the right person. The usual payment and cancellation terms still apply.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. A $499 deposit at checkout holds your room. The remaining balance is due by 9 October 2026. Bookings made on or after 9 October require payment in full at the time of booking. We will email you a payment link for the balance. Questions first? Email studio@embod.com.au.

Can you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes, for most things. Tell me when you book. Please email studio@embod.com.au before booking with the details of any allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement so we can confirm what can be accommodated. If your allergy is severe, contact us before purchasing your room.

Is it just women?

Yes. Biohacking Offline is a retreat for women. Book on your own or add another woman to your room.

Is the price the same if I do not join every activity?

Yes. Your booking is for the complete two-night retreat, including your room, meals, workshops, movement experiences and Embod in Residence. You are free to choose what you join, but skipped activities cannot be deducted from the room price or exchanged for credit.

What happens if I have to cancel because of an emergency?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Your $499 deposit is non-refundable and we do not refund for change of mind, because the venue, catering and facilitators are committed on your behalf. What you can always do is pass your room to another woman, free, any time until 16 October 2026. If you have paid more than the deposit, we hold that amount as Embod credit for twelve months, for the next retreat or for studio treatments. If we are able to refill your room from the waitlist, we may refund what you paid less the deposit. We recommend travel insurance for unexpected illness or emergencies. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected, and if Embod cancels the retreat you receive everything back.

Iโ€™m pregnant. Can I still join?

Pregnancy does not automatically rule out the weekend, but some Embod treatments and activities may not be suitable. Please speak with your treating health professional and email studio@embod.com.au before booking so we can talk through the program and confirm what participation may look like for you.

I have a medical condition. Can I still join?

Please contact us before booking. Biohacking Offline is a wellbeing retreat rather than medical care, and the suitability of individual treatments and activities depends on your circumstances. We may ask you to seek advice or clearance from your treating health professional before taking part.

I can't make these dates.

I would love to do this again, but I have not set the next dates and I will not pretend I have. Email studio@embod.com.au and ask to go on the retreat list, and you will hear from me first.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 12 pm on Friday 23 October, and check-out is by 11 am on Sunday 25 October 2026. Confirmed guests will receive the exact address, arrival instructions and anything they need to bring before the retreat.
